Kid yoga life is a program that is aimed toward the promotion of health and wellness for children, teens and young adults. Through our program your child will use their imagination, express their creativity, and build their confidence while learning mindfulness, discipline, breath awareness, coordination, journaling and self love.
Each Kid Yoga class is unique. From learning a variety of different yoga poses and breathing techniques to gaining confidence in their bodies ability to bend. Learning balance, fostering love and kindness, and cultivating breath awareness through mind and body. Each week brings a new opportunity for our yogis to build strength, flexibility, gain better mobility and balance all while building great characteristics and attitudes. 
Fostering cooperation and compassion, instead of opposition, is a great gift to give children. Yoga brings that marvelous inner light that we all have to the surface. 
The physical movements introduce us to yogas true meaning; Union, Expression,and Honor for oneself and one's part in the delicate web of life.
Lay Mabry
B.S. and Certified Yoga Instructor
A Native from Los Angeles, California Lay has always had a passion for working with children and teens. She has actively practiced yoga for 16 years and continues to put into practice what she's learned to deepen her knowledge and experience as a program director. As a mother to a 10 and 4 year old she has seen first hand the many benefits that yoga provides to children. 

She aims to inspire the youth to learn and create their own safe space to become their most authentic self, to be confident and to always use their imagination and creativity. Kid yoga life combines the elements of art,  storytelling and mindfulness along with yoga for children, teens and young adults to grasp the understanding of body movement and self awareness.

Lay Mabry is a graduate from the University of Houston-Downtown. She obtained her B.S. in Health and Behavioral Science concentrated in Aging and Wellness. She holds CEU certifications from the Rory Meyers College of Nursing in Social Determinants of Health, Risk screening for behavioral health conditions,  and Trauma related disorders. She is dedicated in her efforts to promote health and wellness in families as well as communities. Lay obtained her yoga certification from The Yoga Institute of Houston and is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 200 registered yoga teacher.
